My second novel, Plato's Screw just became available. You can read an excerpt from the novel (pre-publication) published in 5-Trope magazine (Dec 2013 issue). It was partly serialized in Del Sol Review in 2010. If you're interested in reading the entire novel, it's available at Amazon on Kindle as an ebook (Dec. 2013) and will come out in paperback in 2014.
An anti-novel, Plato's Screw, a satire on work, love and surveillance, is built on chapters, frames, defining moments and an Almanac(k) of Things.
What's it about?
Eccentric physicist Brancusi hires Joana, exploring her inherited inadequacy, to collect impressions of his life. The two find themselves sandwiched between the absurd and the surreal as they search for the pathology of windows, listen to the last sounds before the first utterance, and discover ever new ways to outsmart their inherited inadequacies or social ambiguities.
You don't need a Kindle to read the ebook posted on Amazon. Here's the info on how to access the e-novel from Amazon without Kindle if you are interested.
